- Operate and optimize our highly available, scalable platform running on AWS.
- Design, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Jenkins and GitLab.
- Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
- Automate and implement security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation in such fields as access and identity management, network segmentation, endpoint security, and others.
- Conduct administrative tasks in such fields as asset and change management, backups, updates, and others.
- Document administrative and operational processes.
- Train and share AWS knowledge within the team.
You Have
- Several years of professional experience in AWS DevOps engineering. AWS certificates are a plus.
- In-depth with AWS services: deployment and management, compute and network, storage and CDN, database, analytics.
- Experience: automation and testing via scripting, Java, Go-Lang or Lambda functions is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality and attitude and ability to work independently in an agile, distributed environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Languages: English, German or one more EU relevant language is a plus.
